This cozy wedding is the perfect example of the magic that happens when you merge Key West living with lots and lots of love. Chris + Tyler’s intimate backyard wedding was one for the books. What could be better than getting ready in the comfort of your own home? Or walking steps to your beachfront backyard to celebrate your love? Or cocktail hour on your dock? Sigh… It was the perfect amount of relaxed and friendly and made the best wedding venue for this couple. We even had a couple surprise visitors, by boat!

My favorite thing as a photographer is to work with other creatives and this bride is just that. Plus she’s easy going and fun (my other favorite things)! Tyler and I studied fine art together in college, so I had no doubt that her wedding would be amazing, but the beautiful attention to detail still blew my mind with every step further I took around their home. The meticulous staircase decorated with fresh, cheerful flowers and candles was definitely a work of art. And Tyler’s bright bouquet was just absolutely GORGEOUS! Most importantly, if you’re a lover of charcuterie boards (clearly I am!) please be sure to see the deliciousness to follow. EVERY detail was perfection, but let’s move on to what this wedding was really all about… the LOVE.

Sometimes a wedding truly makes your heart skip a beat and this was one of them. Chris and Tyler are truly a special couple and that was well reflected by the loving environment of their closest family and friends. Their vows expressed how they love their adventures because they got to experience them together. You couldn’t catch either one of them without a smile on their face the entire night.

I’m so happy to have been a part of this beautiful wedding day. Congratulations to the bride + groom!
